Slacking

Why yes yes I have slacked off. Something we hadn't expected in arenas was any situation where people from 3's would start doing 2's. We've fought an amazing amount of teams with full wrathful gear and weapons. It makes for any decent fight to be a degree more difficult. So we've been stuck around 1500 or so because largely of that.
 It was also disheartening to learn that the season is ending when the patch goes live. I had REALLY looked forward to going into rated matches with the changes. Especially with our current comp of rogue/spriest. The only change I'd make myself is probably back to mutilate. I've found that I'm able to stand against paladins warriors and dk's much better. Like wise can be said with casters. Bleeds arn't affected by armor and bleeds were certainly pushed in this patch. I've had quite a few mages eat the dirt from being bled and having the bleed procs via having a poison up with a bleed. This will give us some small but important sustained damage rolling onto casters while were at range. Recooperate is a godsend. Standing toe to toe with a plate class duking it out much longer than I would be able to otherwise.
 And much as the tradition is with PTR, you face off against many people with premade characters who've never played the class before. I found an amazing amount of rogues fit that bill. Many of them vanishing bleeds in an attempt to flee. Just by using recooperate alone I was able to just stand there and duke it out with a rogue.
 Shadow Priests are doing good as well despite what many people are spewing (QQQQQQQQQ).
I really think this would have been an amazing patch for my team, but oh well there's always next season at 85 :) It gives both of us time to round up gear for the big leveling hooblah come early December.
 I have some video of some matches I'll upload and post here, it always seems tho, the biggest clutch games are when you aren't recording. However, there's still some good take downs, positional use of arcane torrent on nontargeted enemies and general WOTLK Rush down :)
