I didn't think much on how big of a deal MLG was to my livelyhood of arenas. When MLG dropped arenas I thought "big woop, it sucks for the sponsored guys but I won't miss it.
However it most certainly hasn't been the case. I indeed do miss watching great arena coverage I miss seeing these really good teams face off against each other live. It's one thing to see a pvp movie with a couple matches. But you never really get to see how it all went down and finished. You never get to hear the strategy that goes on before and after each game.
You also don't get the commentary, and while I know a great deal about other classes and such, I like having my own thoughts about a situation confirmed. "he really didn't need to blow iceblock." and then the one of the commentators goes "that was a wasted cd." It's a comforting thing. Or enlightening one depending on what side of the fence you're on.
I'm really hoping Blizzard and MLG work things out and we get some semblance of a season to watch. The blizz tournament is great and all but we'd all like to be able to see more of our favorite teams.
I think thats partially causing, well lets be honest, with no awesome matches or drama etc, there's not much more to post about than "im doing great in arenas guys."
I believe what I'm going to do is review a rogue movie once a week or so. Or at least until things seem to pick up a bit.
Well I'm posting this from the hospital (nobody is harmed, just a visit for a check up.) and it's time to take off so I'll have more to post later on :)
